I wake most every day with the first thoughts of “what is it I have to make today?” You may think “have to make?” Even if I have been commissioned to create or it’s a want to create, it “has to be made”. I can’t wait to see how it turns out! That is the artist I am, I love the process of creating and relishing in the end product. I believe that is why I love to work in metal. It is quite a process to make a piece in metal, especially jewelry. Jewelry I think is the ultimate. What better way to expose your art than to wear it! I had the good fortune to attend and graduate (1986) Parsons School of Design in N.Y.C. Just out of college, I began model making for major Fashion and Fine jewelry houses of that time Trifari Jewelry, Kleinberg Sherrill Belts and Handbags and Karen Callan Designs. Working for these designers gave me inspiration and invaluable knowledge to go out on my own. In 1992 after moving to Florida, I opened a retail store on Las Olas Blvd. and filled it with my designs. I was also featured as a local artist in 3 Saks 5th Avenue locations, Boca Raton, Bal Harbor and Fort Lauderdale. What a great time that was! The next great creation was in 1994 with the birth of my son, Adam. With Adam by my side I retreated to a private studio to manufacture a wholesale line and manufacture goods for other companies. I also started sharing my passion, teaching jewelry making as an adult education course. Well it’s 16 years later and my good fortune continues. I am still in my private studio manufacturing and creating with my son by my side, as well as teaching and sharing my passion for art ensuring great art continues. I am so glad you are here to come along to share our ride! Please browse and enjoy our art.

APV Collection
Hi, I’m Adam Veedell; I work with my Mom, Regina, making jewelry and other artwork. I also have my own line of jewelry, APV Custom. My line focuses mostly on gothic styles, pop culture, and some pieces from famous anime, like Full Metal Alchemist and Naruto. I started making jewelry with my mom probably around when I was 12. I started out simple, putting the molds in and making the rough pieces for mom to put the finish on and polish them up. But, slowly I started to work my way up; I started to learn how to shine up the pieces, how to add finishes, and even how to add color. I would say my inspiration would come from me watching way too much TV, playing way to many video games, and reading a lot. I like to let my mind wander, and sometimes, I trip over something I like and I try to draw it out from my mind’s eye. In the near future, I’m hoping to learn how to weld, maybe to make sculptures and some decorative pieces, to sell. I would love to experiment with sheet metal and a plasma cutter to create decorative swords. I also want to learn how to utilize the spare wood by our shop to make wood designs. Most importantly, I want to make more custom pieces for customers, so I can be more open to new, creative and abstract tastes of others.
